Authorship & Contributorship Policy
The journal applies the internationally recognized authorship criteria (ICMJE) and the scientific-integrity principles adopted by the Libyan Academy. Each author must have made a substantial contribution to the conception or design of the work, or the acquisition, analysis, or interpretation of data; and to drafting or critically revising the manuscript; and must approve the final version and be accountable for the work.
Adding individuals who did not genuinely contribute (gift authorship) or omitting genuine contributors (ghost authorship) is prohibited. The order of names must be documented with the approval of all authors before submission. Any change to the author list after submission requires written approval from all parties.
The journal provides a written declaration, signed by the authors, affirming that the work is not plagiarized from another work or dissertation and that they bear legal and ethical responsibility otherwise. Use of the Contributor Roles Taxonomy (CRediT) to specify each author's role is recommended.
