The journal publishes original research articles, scientific reviews, and short communications in the basic and applied sciences. Its scope includes, but is not limited to, the following fields:

• Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, and Information Technology.
• Physics, Chemistry, and Materials Science.
• Life Sciences, Microbiology, and Biotechnology.
• Earth Sciences, Geology, and Environmental Science.
• Related engineering and applied sciences.

Submissions falling outside the journal's scope will not be considered and may be desk-rejected by the editorial board prior to review. This scope statement is reviewed periodically to reflect the evolving disciplines of the School and the Academy.
