It is with great pride and honor that I present to you the inaugural issue of Sahel Almarifah Journal for Human and Applied Sciences. This publication is the result of collaborative efforts and a bold vision to establish a credible scientific platform that bridges rigorous academic research, deep human insights, and the expanding horizons of applied knowledge.

The idea of launching this journal emerged from an urgent need for an intellectual space that promotes interdisciplinary research and builds connections between the human and social sciences on one hand, and applied and technical sciences on the other — all in service of humanity and society. In a rapidly changing world, where challenges grow increasingly complex, there is a vital need for critical thinking, scientific analysis, and innovative approaches capable of both understanding and transforming our reality.

We hope Sahel Almarifah will serve as a valuable resource for researchers, academics, and decision-makers alike, opening new avenues for constructive academic dialogue rooted in scientific integrity, mutual respect, and diversity of knowledge.

We extend our sincere gratitude to all the researchers who contributed to this first issue, as well as to the editorial board and peer reviewers, whose dedication and efforts were key to bringing this work to light.
