Islamic culture curricula in our universities: between framing and enlightenment
Abstract
This research aims to discuss the systematic preparation of Islamic culture courses at the university level, and the possibility of developing these curricula as required by our contemporary societies. The paper also seeks to search for possible means of diagnosing challenges in developing the course and ways to overcome them.
Methodology: In this research, the deductive "analytical" approach was used, as this approach fits the objectives of the paper, as well as the process of extracting evidence, as well as answering the main problem of the research.
conclusions: The most important findings of the current paper centered on the reform and development of Islamic culture courses lie in the merging of two things: (culture and understanding of Islam). This makes it possible to build between the correct framing of the Islamic culture curriculum and the desired contemporary.
