ABSTRACT
This study is an extrapolation of the historical texts that were mentioned in the blogs of Arab travelers and historians who visited the city of Tripoli during the period that followed the Islamic conquest and even before the arrival of the Ottoman Turks to it in the middle of the sixteenth century AD, in an attempt to track the development of the architectural form of the city and to know its most important architectural features in the period It was characterized by its lack of clear features in this aspect due to the disappearance of most of these features during the period of study limits, due to the permanent renewal of the architectural components of the city, which was at the expense of the older buildings, and hence the blogs of travelers, historians and geographers that talked about the city during this period were the main and only source To form a comprehensive idea of the architectural aspect at that time by trying to devise and analyze the architectural signs in it, and this is the goal of the research
