Abstract

This study aims to identify the role of modern media in directing people with hearing disabilities towards academic education within the framework of a plan to raise the quality of the educational process. The study used the descriptive and analytical approach for this purpose. The study also used a questionnaire to collect data and information on a sample of (20) teachers with hearing disabilities. Workers in the field of hearing disability at the Al Amal Center for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing in Tripoli, and workers at the Iyad Center for Rehabilitation of People with Special Needs in the city of Al-Ajailat. The study also used a number of statistical methods to achieve its objectives, including the arithmetic mean, standard deviation, percentage, relative weight, Pearson correlation coefficient, and reliability coefficient. Cronbach's alpha, reliability coefficient using split-half method, and t-test, the results of this study resulted in a large agreement among the study sample members on the questionnaire items, which aim to identify the role of modern media in directing people with hearing disabilities towards academic education and the role of these sites in the success of this experiment within the framework of a plan to raise the quality of the educational process. This indicates that Something that indicates the importance of the role of modern media in directing people with hearing disabilities towards academic education, and its prominent role in overcoming all the difficulties facing this group that prevent them from being allowed to enroll in the university stage. The results of this study also indicated the presence of statistically significant differences in the level of The responses of the study sample members, which are attributed to the gender variable (males/females), are in favor of males. There are also statistically significant differences in the level of the study sample members’ responses, which are due to the educational institutions variable, in favor of the Al Amal Center for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing in Tripoli
