Abstract

This research explores the concept of security (ʾamn) in the Holy Qur’an, as one of the major higher objectives (maqāṣid) affirmed by Qur’anic texts, given its close connection to human life and its essential role in achieving both individual and societal stability.

The study emerges in response to a contemporary intellectual need to investigate the conceptual dimensions and practical applications of security in Qur’anic discourse. It does so through the analysis of relevant Qur’anic verses and the deduction of their meanings within a structured scientific framework.
