Abstract
The study demonstrates that recycled glass is not merely waste to be discarded, but a resource that can be utilized to produce hybrid materials possessing distinctive functional, aesthetic, and environmental properties. The proposed models illustrate the feasibility of combining glass with a variety of materials—such as epoxy, cement, gypsum, biopolymers, and fireclay—to create new materials suited to the needs of contemporary interior design.
Furthermore, the study highlights how these hybrid materials support the principles of sustainability and the circular economy by reducing waste and enhancing resource efficiency, making them a promising trend in the development of future interior design materials.
