Abstract:

         The study aimed to identify how AI- Sabah newspaper addresses social issues using the descriptive analytical method and a content analysis form to examine the content of 144 issues of the newspaper over a full year .the study reached several recommendations , most notably the need to elevate journalistic discourse by adopting in-depth journalist treatments based on research and investigation , focusing on the social issues backgrounds and contexts rather than just their surface manifestations = the study also emphasized the importance of developing journalists professional skills in social journalism investigative  journalism , and analytical journalism  to improve the quality of media coverage. Furthermore, it called for the establishment of specialized units for covering social issues in an organized and systematic manner, strengthening partnerships between journalists and civil society to exchange expertise , and promoting solution journalism by presenting successful models in addressing societal problems .Lastly , it stressed the importance of measuring the impact of journalistic content on public opinion, decision-make and the targeted gro.
