Anyone who follows all conflicts and wars, and the crimes of public opinion they have caused within the national territory, notices, in a clear and obvious way, the impact and great role of the media machine in covering the bloody events that Libya has witnessed in general, especially crimes of public opinion, from the events of February 2011 to the present day. If media coverage of crimes of public opinion in general has a very important impact, it is increasingly important and widespread in societies with limited awareness and objective oversight, and its impact is not limited to the public only, but rather penetrates even within the state authorities and the judiciary, part of it, and its impact even on the mechanisms for achieving criminal and social justice and restorative justice is part of it as well. This shows the true understanding of the role of the media in supporting the national reconciliation project, and then focusing on it and giving it priority and coordinating with it before even starting this reconciliation project, through presenting the problem of the research study, which is to what extent does the media affect the restorative justice program in crimes of public opinion? According to a research study plan, we address media coverage and public opinion first, and then the impact and influence of restorative justice second.
