ABSTRACT
The Egyptian-Saudi coordination during this period witnessed a great deal after the 1952 revolution, and this was reflected in the failure of the Baghdad Pact based on colonial and ancient legitimacy. Egypt and Saudi Arabia had a specific and clear position against any military alliance linked to the West. Egypt and Saudi Arabia succeeded in thwarting that ally, while Saudi Arabia supported Egypt's position on nationalization. While this coordination witnessed a violent shake-up, this is due to the Saudi fear of the unitary projects launched by Gamal Abdel Nasser. This fear is due to Saudi Arabia losing its political system, especially in the Egyptian support directed to Yemen to change the ruling political system, but after the defeat of 1967, Saudi Arabia was restored.
Its coordination with Egypt to try to break the Israeli will, and after the departure of Gamal Abdel Nasser and the arrival of President Anwar Sadat, the Egyptian-Saudi relations witnessed great coordination, as Saudi Arabia supported Egypt politically, modernly, and economically, and took important steps as it banned the export of oil to Western countries. To achieve the objectives of the study, the analytical descriptive approach was relied upon, which is one of the most appropriate scientific approaches to the subject of the study, which describes the events and then analyzes them. The historical approach was also used, which gives a historical account of the Egyptian-Saudi coordination in different periods. The problem of the study came to express what are the priorities The Saudi-Egyptian joint action and the study's answers indicate that the Egyptian-Saudi coordination succeeded to a large extent in breaking the Israeli arrogance
