The aim of the research is to identify the opinion of the Libyan academic elite about the credibility of the Libyan satellite channels through its handling of the issue of national reconciliation. This research is a descriptive research that adopts the survey approach for the media audience, which works to describe the public's attitudes towards the media content of the Libyan satellite channels in dealing with the issue of national reconciliation. The research sample consisted of an intentional sample of 30 individuals from the Libyan academic elite in Libyan universities. An electronic questionnaire was applied to them. The research showed a set of results, including; The low level of confidence of the respondents in the Libyan satellite channels in dealing with the issue of national reconciliation. And the low level of credibility standards in the Libyan satellite channels in dealing with the issue of national reconciliation, according to the respondents' point of view. And that the effects of the dependence of the respondents on following the Libyan satellite channels in dealing with the issue of national reconciliation are cognitive effects.
