Abstract:

This study deals with identifying the role of modern communication technology in activating the performance of public relations within institutions, including the Education Monitoring Benghazi. It was interested in studying the actual reality of the role of this technology within the institution, and working to activate its role in light of the rapid progress of modern communication technology. From this standpoint, a search is being made to know the role of this technology and its contribution to activating the performance of public relations employees and those working within the Education Control Department. The research community consisted of employees of the Public Relations Unit, officials of administrative councils, directors of administration, heads of departments and units, and employees and directors of educational services offices in the Benghazi Education Control Department. Their number reached 152 male and female employees, where the descriptive approach was relied upon to clarify information and data and then data collection tools were used. These are the questionnaire, the interview, the observation, as well as some of the statistical methods found in the statistical research program (Spss). The research was divided into three chapters, which are as follows: The first chapter (methodological framework): which dealt with the sense of the research problem, the problem of the research, the importance of the research, and the objectives. The research, previous studies, the cognitive questions for this research, the definition of the terms used in this research, the research method used, the population, the research sample, the limits of the research, the means of collecting data and information, then the validity and stability of the tool, the statistical treatment of the data, the difficulties that faced the research, as well as the theory. appropriate to the research, how to employ it, and the extent of its importance and compatibility with this research.
