Abstract

ABSTRACT   :

This research aimed at  the role of social networking sites in supporting international political stability (the State of Libya as a model) from the point of view of university faculty members  in the faculties  of  media in the Eastern Province, and this research relied on descriptive studies that describe the role of social networking sites in supporting international political stability, and the survey approach was chosen, and  the electronic questionnaire newspaper was distributed as a tool for collecting data on the research sample in a comprehensive survey method for all Faculty  members in the faculties of media in Libyan universities in the Eastern Province, and the study reached several results, the most important of which are: The lack of contribution of social networking sites in defining and clarifying the true meaning  of international political stability among the majority of faculty members in the faculties of media in Libyan universities in the Eastern Province, the sites most used by respondents in the field of their support for international political stability in Libya, Facebook ranked first among the sites in terms of use by members of the Teaching in the field of their support  for international political stability, and the  results also reached the role played by social networking sites in achieving the requirements and conditions of  international political stability  in Libya from the point of view of the  respondents, where the condition for achieving national reconciliation came in first place, and finally reached the factors that negatively affect   Political stability in Libya through their exposure to social networking sites, and thus external interventions were among  the most negative factors affecting  political stability through their exposure to social networking sites.
