Abstract

The twentieth century witnessed the emergence of contemporary commercial centers significantly in America and Europe, and they have become a new manifestation in the process of marketing and shopping. These commercial centers have affected communities, becoming a place not only for shopping but also for social and recreational communication. They have become safe places for rest and providing an atmosphere of coexistence, and they contribute significantly to the development of economic activity, especially when supply and demand within commercial markets. This is done through materials, colors and lighting that help draw the attention of customers to places of supply.

Technology has also led to the emergence of different styles, styles and elements that have helped to visual communication between the inside and outside, which has played a role in creating functional and aesthetic aspects that have enhanced the improvement of shopping performance. Opening up to the outside breaks the stalemate and helps to improve and activate jobs in the outer spaces of commercial centers.

The closed display windows system in open commercial centers pushes boredom and monotony, and this reflects negatively on shoppers, unlike open windows, which are visually open from the back inside the sales area, so the customer can see the goods displayed in the sales area through the same interface frame, so the whole shop is inside the display frame, which helps passers-by discover everything that is displayed in the sales hall.

Technology has a clear role in developing the design process for closed and open malls that have produced high-service centers through escalators and elevators that have greatly helped shoppers to move comfortably between vertical floors, encouraging older people to shop in such stores.

The emergence of interactive chip technology in display windows has played a major role in motivating customers to approve the purchase, that commercial centers have become an important architecture in our civil society and that the beauty of presenting and displaying the commodity in a distinctive manner directly affects ensuring its sale.
