This study aims to identify the role of Libyan electronic journalism in addressing marginalized groups, most notably: (women and children), and the extent of the repercussions of this treatment and treatment on public opinion. Due to the weak distribution of print media and the limited number of printed copies during the study period, the researcher decided to conduct this study. An analytical analysis on a sample of electronic journalism that enjoys a large following due to its easy access; The study reached several results, the most important of which are: the urgent need to activate the role of electronic journalism in addressing the issues of marginalized groups, as well as developing an integrated media strategy to address the issues of marginalized groups. The two newspapers included in the study also relied heavily on (the art of news reporting) among the arts of journalistic editing used in their treatment of the issues of marginalized groups, which came in first place among the arts of journalistic editing at a rate of (68.7%), which reflects the absence of the field aspect in investigative journalistic coverage of the study issues. While the source (Ministry of Social Affairs) topped the sources of journalistic material published in the two study newspapers on the issues of marginalized groups at a rate of (23%) .
