The importance of studying the history، civilization، and antiquities of Ghadames lies in the fact that it embodies an important period of ancient Libyan history، and sheds light on a historical stage. The city went through an important period، like other cities in ancient Libya، which is the Roman era، and the archaeological finds it left behind bore a local character mixed with the Roman character، which requires continuous research and excavation to uncover them and introduce the history of this city in the Roman era.
