تتناول هذه الورقة موضوع الهجرة بين ضفتي البحر الأبيض المتوسط، حيث تسلط الضوء على القضايا والأزمات المرتبطة بهذه الظاهرة. بهدف بتحليل أسباب الهجرة، وتأثيراتها على البلدان المعنية، بالإضافة إلى استعراض التحديات التي تواجه المهاجرين والمجتمعات المضيفة.علاوة على ذلك ابراز دور التعليم كمحرك للتنمية المستدامة، ومساهمته في تحقيق فرص متساوية ومستدامة للمهاجرين. وكيف يمكن للتعليم أن يسهم في تعزيز قدرات المهاجرين، وتقديم الفرص التعليمية التي تمكنهم من المساهمة الفعّالة في مجتمعاتهم المضيفة وتحقيق التنمية المستدامة في بلدانهم الأصلية. كما تهدف هذه الورقة إلى إلقاء الضوء على الجوانب السلبية، والإيجابية للهجرة، ودور التعليم في تحويلها إلى فرص للنمو والتنمية، بالإضافة إلى استعراض التحديات والأزمات التي يجب التصدي لها بشكل جاد لتحقيق التنمية المستدامة، والاستقرار في منطقة البحر الأبيض المتوسط.
